My Journey
I believe that therapy is unique and looks different for every single person. My goal is to provide a safe space to each of my clients to express themselves and learn to cope with life's challenges in a healthy and supportive manner. Building rapport, I believe, is the key to a strong therapeutic relationship and something I take very seriously. My role as a therapist is to help you through what is happening in your life and aid in self-empowerment and resilience to help you learn your limits, set boundaries, learn coping skills, set and achieve goals, and discover and express who you truly are.
I have experience in working with trauma, self-harm, neurodivergency, substance use, eating disorders, and mood disorders. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, as well as taking a client-centered and strength-based approach with every person.
Remember, you are not alone in your struggles and it is okay and normal to seek help to cope with them!
